CENTER OSSIPEE—Eleanor Kenny, 89, of Sunset Place, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009 at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro.
She was born April 29, 1920 in Hiram, Maine, the daughter of the late John and Lena (Rankin) Clemons.
Eleanor had lived most of her life in Center Ossipee. She was the widow of the late Robert E. Kenny. She is survived by her sisters, Bernie Johnson, of Hiram, Maine; and Carolyn walker of Bridgeton, Maine; a stepbrother Paul Sargent, of Cornish, Maine, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Lloyd Clemons and Roland Clemons, and by her stepsiblings, Roy Sargent, Earle Sargent, Carl Sargent, Elaine Burnelle, Lucille Dearborn, and Dorothy Woodbury.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held in Grant Hill Cemetery in the spring. Lord Funeral Home, Center Ossipee, is in charge of arrangements.
