Mrs. Martin Reuther Dead

Mrs. Lettie Reuther, wife of Martin Reuther of 312 Minnesota street, died this morning at eight o'clock at St. Mary's hospital, after an illness of ten days with typhoid pneumonia. She was taken to the hospital last Tuesday evening, but gradually grew weaker until death claimed her this morning.

Lettie McQuerry was born April 12, 1887, and came to Winfield with her parents at an early age. She was married to Martin Reuther nine years ago and to this union were born seven children, who with the husband are left to mourn the loss of a mother. The children are: Dollie, Florence, Norene, Nellie, George, Ruth and Raymond, aged six months, her mother, Mrs. Phoebe McQuerry, one sister, Mrs. Minnie Allen of Chanute and three brothers, Jesse McQuerry of Collinsville, Okla., and Bert and Ross McQuerry of Winfield.

No funeral arrangements have yet been made.

Mr. Reuther is employed at the J.A. Hudson Grocery.

The funeral of Mrs. Martin Reuther will be held tomorrow afternoon from the Grace Methodist church at 2 o'clock in charge of the pastor, Rev. W.W. Bollinger.
