Donna B. Norris, 91, of Delphos, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016, at Vancrest Healthcare Center of Delphos.
She was born October 6, 1924, to Clyde and Flossie Ann (Swartz) Adams. Both preceded her in death. On March 10, 1945, she was united in marriage to Vern K. Norris, he survives in Delphos. They recently celebrated 71 years of marriage.
She is survived by a son, Jeff (Denise) Norris of Delphos; six grandchildren, Rachel (Alan) Gillaspie of Pickerington, Jill (Travis) Schimmoeller of Delphos, Kevin (Sherri) Norris of Elida, Jim Norris Jr., of Delphos, Amy (Todd) Schulte of Delphos, and Lori (Bob) White of Delphos; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jim Norris Sr.; a daughter-in-law, Jan Norris; a sister, Bernice Adams; and two brothers, Jack and Franklin Adams.
Donna was a lifelong member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was also a member of Delphos Wesleyan Church birthday club for several years and North Western Benefit Association for 50 years. She liked to read, ride bike, and teach kids to swim.
Funeral services will be on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Menke will officiate. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
