Mary Lou Nichols, 64, of Newark Valley passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011.

Mary Lou was predeceased by her brother Michael Lamoreux, Sr.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Franklin B. Nichols; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Pieter Benne; three grandchildren, Abigail and Elizabeth Nezelek, Isaac Benne; brother and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Sherri Lamoreux, Lyn Lamoreux; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mary Lou worked for H & R Block for over 25 years. She was a member of the Campville United Methodist Church and was a former Girl Scout Leader.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Campville United Methodist Church with the Rev. William Prentice, officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Lou Nichols' memory to the Campville United Methodist Church, 6110 NY State Route 17C, Endicott, NY 13760. Condolences may be made to the family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com
