Gene Allen Carter

Mr. Carter was a retired Pipefitter with Local 572 Plumber and Pipefitters. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was awarded the Bronze Star for Heroism with Valor and the Korean Medal of Honor during the Korean War. He was an accomplished Golden Gloves Boxer, a member of the Masonic Lodge, B.P.O.E, Elks Lodge, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star, School Board Member and member of the Local Union 572 Plumbers and Pipefitters for fifty years. He was, also, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
