Willard Anderson III, age 48, of Ray, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Oak Hill, Ohio on February 11, 1968 to the late Willard Anderson, Jr. and Nancy (Reed) Anderson, who survives.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ryan Sean Anderson and paternal grandparents, Mildred and Willard Anderson; and maternal grandparents, James and Hazel Reed.
Along with his mother, Nancy, he is survived by his children: Alisha Robertson and Mallory Anderson; stepson, Jeffrey Hill, Jr.; brother, Jeffrey Allen Anderson; and by special aunt and uncle, Brenda Kay (Reed) Waulk and Howard Allen Reed. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Willard enjoyed life and open-road truck driving.
Funeral services will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 2 p.m., with Pastor Jorge Anido officiating. Burial will follow at Caldwell Cemetery in Ross County. The family will receive friends at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Monday, April 4 from 4 to 8 p.m.
