According to 1900, 1910, and 1920 US Census:

Anna immigrated to the US from Russia in 1874 at the age of 10 yrs. and married Gerhardt Bartel in 1881. They lived in Risley, Marion Co., Kansas in 1895 Kansas census, Lehigh, Marion Co., Kansas in the 1900 US Fed. census, and in Balko, Beaver Co., OK in the 1910 & 1920 Fed. Census.

Final services were held in the Bethany Mennonite church on Monday for Mrs. Henry FOOTE of Corn, Okla., who passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 9. She was 83 years of age.
Rev. M. B. Schmidt was in charge of the funeral services.
Mrs. FOOTE homesteaded near Bethany in 1906 with her husband, the late Gerhardt BARTEL, and it was in this community that their ten children were reared. She had made her home in Corn since 1920.
She is survived by her husband, 10 children and 42 great-grandchildren.
The children include Mrs. Sam HERGERT, Perryton; Mrs. Henry UNRUH, McPherson, Kansas; Mrs. Ed WAHL, BOYD; Mrs. Abe SCHROEDER, Newton, KAns.; MRs. A. J. REIMER, Perryton; E. B. BARTEL, Boyd; H. G. BARTEL, Balko; P. G. BARTEL, Gray and Solomon BARTEL, Wasco, Cal.

Anna Funk's father was Peter Funk, born 5 Oct 1830 in Klien Lubin, Graundenz, Prussia. He died 29 May 1907 in Hillsboro, Kansas. He married Agneta Schroeder in 1852, she died in 1862 in South Russia. They had two children, Maria and John P. Peter then married Anna Unruh in 1862. They had 8 children, Benjamin, Anna, Helena, Gerhard, Juliana, Eva, Wilhelmina and Sarah.
The name Frank may be an Anglicized version of the surname Funk.
