Mary Francis Marden, 91, of Macon, Georgia passed away Friday, April 1, 2016.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Pastor Paul Dziabul will officiate. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. in Fairhaven Funeral Home 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road.
Born in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late George Albert Francis and Nettie Gibbs Francis. She was the widow of Leslie Marden.
Mrs. Marden was a retired post office clerk with Wesleyan College and a member of the Lake Wildwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, James L. Marden (Lorna K) of Peachtree City, Ga.; Jan Peavy (Buddy) of Macon; Sister, Daisy Pelt (Robert) of Monroe County, Ga; Sister in laws, Jeanette Francis of Macon and Fannie Lee Francis of North Augusta, South Carolina. Four grandchildren and Seven great grandchildren.
