Mrs. Gussie Mae Lee Crews, 86, Gussie died Thursday morning (March 31, 2016) at Bayview Nursing Home after an extended illness.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Brantley County where she was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Lee and Sarah Jane Dowling Lee; her husband, J. B. Crews; and two grandsons, Trent Crews and Charles Anthony Riggins.

Survivors include three daughters, Janice Riggins (Charles) of Hoboken, Clara Tapley (Thomas E. Jr.) of Waycross, and Angie McArthur (Kevin) of Waycross; two sons, Jimmy Crews (Linda) of Waycross, and Travis Crews (Dana) of Nahunta; five grandchildren, Taite Crews (Kim), James Pruitt, Betsy Ward (Benson), Trey Tapley (Megan), Maggie McArthur and Kipp McArthur; seven great grandchildren, Lanie Ennis, Cole Riggins, Molly Myer, Fisher and Avery Crews, Sibby and Maisie Ward; four great great grandchildren, Trig, Tucker, Thatcher and Teller Ennis; one sister, Delorice Joyner of Waycross; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday (April 2, 2016) at Music Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.musicfuneralhome.com.
