Molly Palsgrove Davis, age 61, passed away unexpectedly March 15, 2011. Molly was born November 17, 1949, to the late Maurice and Dorothy Palsgrove. She graduated from Capital University Summa Cum Laude. An educator for 40 years, she began her teaching career at Bexley City Schools where she and her sister, Mary (Palsgrove) McMullen, have taught 5th grade for over 20 years. Molly was named Bexley's Teacher of the Year, 1983, and Ohio Teacher of the Year, 1984. Life Member of Groveport Zion Lutheran Church. Molly has touched and inspired many students, coworkers, classmates and friends; she will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her husband, John Davis; sister, Mary (Don) McMullen; brothers, Paul and David Palsgrove; aunt, Polly (Warren) Wheeler, brother-in-law, Brian (Connie) Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be at Groveport Zion Lutheran Church, 6014 Groveport Rd., Groveport, OH. Saturday, March 19, from 3-7 p.m., where service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. Pastor Don Bachman officiating. Private interment Asbury Cemetery. The family suggests contributions may be made in her memory to Groveport Zion Lutheran Church, 6014 Groveport Rd., Groveport, OH 43125.
