Linel Zephon Miner passed away on Monday, November 22, 1965 at 3:10 PM in a Salt Lake Hospital of Natural Causes. He was 44 years old and resided at 2541 South Glenmare Street (1575 East) in East Millcreek, Utah at the time of his death. He was born on Monday, August 8, 1921 in Delta, Utah to Homer Franklin Miner (1873-1948) and Mary Effie Bills (1877-1937). He married Marguerite Heinz "Marge" Weinerth on November 8, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Four children blessed this union. Linel was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was employed at St. Joseph's Villa in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City, Utah at the time of his death.
He was survived by his wife, of 19 years and four children; Mrs. Betty Ann Williams, of San Francisco, California, Miss Connie Lynn Miner, Gene Miner and Frank (Bill) Miner, all of Salt Lake City, Utah; Brothers and Sisters, Arden Franklin Miner, of Orem, Utah, Mrs. Alta Smith, Mrs. Thola Wright, both of Provo, Utah, Mrs. Deon Erickson, of Delta, Utah, Mrs. Ora Snyder, Mrs. Lois Miller, Mrs. Alene Overly and Mrs. Ruth Carothers, all of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, November 24, 1965 at 2:30 PM at the Salt Lake Central Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 951 East 100 South in Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing was held on Tuesday, November 23, 1965 from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Stake Center and on Wednesday one half-hour prior to the services.
Linel was laid to rest following the conclusion of the Funeral Services at Memorial Gardens of the Valley (Now Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery) in Sandy, Utah.
