Regina Kent White, 50, of Fitzgerald, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Pastor Bobby McWhirter, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. White was born November 9, 1965, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Minor A Kent, Jr. and the late Barbara Winkle Kent Grantham. She earned her GED and was a homemaker. Mrs. White enjoyed throwing darts as well as fishing. She loved being around children, especially decorating cookies during the holidays with her grandkids. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Gary White of Fitzgerald; a son, Eric Cowart of Fitzgerald; step-children: Clifford Gary “Jay” White, Jr. of Fitzgerald and Zenia McWhirter and her husband Bobby of Augusta; six grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: David & Betty Jean Kent of Ocilla and Jimmy & Brenda Kent of Irwinville; a god-child: Serria Lanier; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
