Alma Long, 91, of Jasper, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Mount Moriah, Hemphill, Texas, a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 1:00 p m at Shultz Funeral Home in Jasper with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday from 11:30 a m until service time at 1:00 p m.
A native of Montgomery, Texas, she was a resident of Houston, Texas until moving to Jasper in 1996. She was a mother and housewife and enjoyed her family.
She is survived by three sons, David Allen & wife, Diane Long of Jasper, Jerry & wife, Shirley Long of Humble, and Cecil & wife, Nancy Long of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; four daughters, Virginia & husband, Onnie Weaver of Mayflower, Betty & husband, Charlie Mitchell of Lumberton, Barbara & husband, "Sonny " Medellin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Mary Jane Benham of Houston; as well as 19 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
