WOODSFIELD — Martha L. Steen, 77, of Cleveland, formerly of Woodsfield, died Wednesday (Nov. 7, 2001) at Barnesville Hospital. She was born June 19, 1924, in Cameron, daughter of the late Julius and Lorena (Ady) McConnell.
Mrs. Steen was a homemaker and a member of Broadview Church of Christ of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel Steen; a son, Richard Steen; a great-grandson, Steven Pyles; a brother, Arthur McConnell; and a sister, Alda Workman.
She leaves a daughter and a son-in-law; two brothers ; a sister; three granddaughters; and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services will be 11 a.m. Saturday with Minister Roger Pace officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
