Hedvig S. Kujala, 95, of 450 Lawn St., Geneva, formerly of Ashtabula, died Monday morning at Con-Lea Nursing Home in Geneva of complications.
She was born Oct. 11, 1883, in Jalasjarvi, Finland, and came to the United States in 1906.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lompi Forsten of Oregon; two sisters in Finland; two grandchildren, Gerald Kujala of Geneva, and Mrs. Harry (Maxine) Whitney of Farmington, N.M.; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gertrude Kujala of California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 1972 and two sons, Wiljo and Martin, who had both resided in Ashtabula.
