Helen Louise Cowan, age 88, of Niceville, Florida went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 28, 2016. She was born February 5, 1928, in the Liberty area of Walton County, Florida to the late William Bishop and Gladys Cawthon Davis. Helen was working at the BX on Eglin where she met Jack Cowan. They were married October 12, 1951 and remained together till his passing just two months prior on January 29, 2016.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Cowan and wife Kay; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Seiber and son-in-law Steve Seiber; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her son James Michael Cowan and her husband Jack Cowan.
On Friday April 1, 2016 viewing will begin at 12:30 pm and services will start at 1:30 pm at Heritage Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Early Cemetery.
