A native of Union, he was son of the late Eugene and Mary Hutcherson Eubanks.
He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, Greenville Piedmont Wood Carvers Club and the Union Wood Carvers Club. He was a former member of the S.C. National Guard, Union unit, and the Army Reserves. He was employed with Milliken & Co., Gillespie Plant.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Baldwin Eubanks; a daughter, Stephanie Cardwell of Union; three sons, David Wayne and Barry Mark Eubanks, both of Silver Street, and Jerry Stephen Eubanks of Union; four sisters, Barbara Vaughan, Virginia Blackmon, Faye Eubanks and Joyce Byrd, all of Union; a brother, Terry Eubanks of Union; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home in Union. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hebron Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Jerry Ford. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m.
