Services for Lisa Dawn Reeves, 51, of Tyler, will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home with Pastor Dr. Paul Powell officiating.

Burial will be Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Mrs. Reeves passed away on Good Friday, March 25, 2016, in Litchfield, New Hampshire.

She was born on the 17th of February 1965 in Dallas to Mr. and Mrs. Carroll and Barbara Sinclair.

Lisa was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Nashua, NH. Lisa was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School Class of 1983. She attended Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Tyler. Mrs. Reeves graduated from UT Tyler in 1987. A lifelong lover of children, books and education, Lisa spent over 27 years as an elementary school teacher and librarian.

Lisa is survived by her loving family. She leaves behind her husband, LTC (Ret) Mark Reeves after 31 years of marriage. Lisa had three children, Elizabeth Katherine Martinez of El Paso, Sgt. (USAF) Jackson Allen Reeves and her grandson, Aidan of Minot, North Dakota, and Rebekah Dawn Reeves of Litchfield, NH and her parents, Carroll and Barbara Sinclair.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Everett Brazeal, Mr. Jeff Reeves, Mr. Dave Sherman, Mr. Chip Peacock, Mr. Bill Newton and Mr. Jim Reed.

Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
