Hezekiah Cheek, 82, 817 S. Ellison, an area resident since 1903, died Friday in a local hospital. Funeral services are pending at Henson Funeral Home.
Cheek was the son of Mr and Mrs Geenberry Cheek and was born at Jefferson, Fla. He came to Hardesty in 1903 and homesteaded land 13 miles southeast of there. He lived on his original holdings until he retired in 1930 and moved to Guymon.
Cheek was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are four sister, Mrs. Lulla Bagley, Cushing; Mrs Mcissa Rawlins, Guymon; Mrs. Berie Blain, Granite and Mrs Virgie Chapman, Watonga, three brothers, Obe Cheek, Golden, Colo., Manor Cheek, Guymon and Marion Cheek, Springfield, Colo.
