Tom was born September 15, 1941 in Sheridan OR, to Thomas Hope, Sr. and Edith (Traylor) Hope. He came to the Wenatchee Valley in the late 1950's. At that time, the family ran the Greyhound Bus Depot. Tom married Mary E. Harris on September 7, 1961 in East Wenatchee and they have made their home here since. As a young man, he worked for Neil's, and Leonard Evans body
shops, later owning his own shops, H & H, and then Tom's Auto Rebuild. He retired in 2002. In the 1970's, Tom was an active racer at the Wenatchee Valley Speedway, driving car #11. Tom's hobbies over the years, included upholstery work, restoring old vehicles, and he received many blue ribbons at the county fair for his wood working.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Tom is survived by: one sister, his wife, his children, grandchildren, also many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
