Helen H. McCausland, 93, Newton Falls, OH (formerly of Plumville), died Thursday, September 6, 2018.

The daughter of John and Jane (Cribbs) Adamson, she was born November 29, 1924 in South Mahoning Township.

During the course of her life, Helen had been employed in retail sales for Murphy’s and Grant’s Five and Dimes. Her interests included quilting, crocheting, embroidering, and crafts. She had been a member of the Community Bible Church in Smicksburg.

Surviving are her six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Clark McCausland; children, Arlene H. Fulton and Linda J. McCausland; siblings, Clarence Adamson, Leana Peterman, Charlotte Helman, Effie Burkett, and Violet Beyers.

Friends will be received at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday morning. Funeral service will immediately follow in the Lefdahl Chapel.

Interment will be in the Smicksburg Cemetery.
