Jeanette C. Hollander, nee Decker [sic], 81, of Northbrook, died Feb.17 in Northbrook. Mrs. Hollander was born Aug. 26, 1921 in Dubuque, Iowa. She had worked as a bus driver. Devoted to her family, she loved crocheting and cooking. Survivors include one son, Raymond (Barbara); four daughters, Shirley (Richard) Mann, Beverley (Kieran) McGarry, Carol (Blake) Chany and Rose (Jack) Zorn; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hollander was preceded in death by her husband, John Jr. Visitation was held last Thursday, Feb. 20, at Kolssak Funeral Home, Ltd., Wheeling. A requiem Mass was celebrated Friday, Feb. 21, at Our Lady of the Brook Worship Center, Northbrook. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Memorial donations may be made to ENH Hospice, 1603 Orrington, Evanston IL 60201-9940.
