Mr. Levi H Pierce died at the residence of his son Albert, in this village, on Thursday morning. Mr Pierce was an old resident of this town and Middlefield. He was elected County Superintendent of the Poor in 1849, which office he held three years, discharging the duties faithfully and satisfactorily. His age was 66.
