Lee LaVerne Barnes, age 67, loving husband, father, and grandfather, was called to heaven on Saturday, March 26, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Janet; children, Thomas and Michael; grandchildren, Isaiah, Winter and Isaac, mother Irma and siblings, Carol and Keith (Cheryl) and many relatives. Preceded in death by his father, LaVerne and father-in-law, Loyd. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Grace United Methodist, 15309 Maple Island Road, Burnsville, MN. Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m. and memorial service at 10:00 a.m. The service will be followed by a luncheon. Interment will follow at later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
