WEST POINT - Randy Lee Hasenkamp, 48, of West Point, died Monday, Oct. 1 at
his home.

Hasenkamp was born Jan. 14, 1953 to Lester and Viola (Pagels) Hasenkamp in
West Point. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in
West Point. He grew up on the family farm in Burt County and graduated from
Lyons High School in 1970. He attended Northeast Community College in
Norfolk.

In 1975 he was married to Claire Van Norman. The couple later divorced.

He was employed at Iowa Beef Processing in West Point as a maintenance
worker. He also enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by a son, Jeremy Hasenkamp of Omaha; a sister and
brother-in-law, Marcy and Dick Alfred of Colorado; three brothers and
sisters-in-law, Larry Hasenkamp of Juniata, Lynn and Betty Hasenkamp of
Lyons and Gene and Michelle Hasenkamp of Hastings; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 6 at Stalp Funeral Chapel in West
Point with Rev. Carl Kramer officiating. Burial was in the Lyons Cemetery.

A memorial has been established.
