Cody A. Yancey, 19, passed away at home on March 27, 2016. He was born in Minneapolis, MN on June 1, 1996 and was the beloved son of Ricci Poole and Christopher Yancey. He is survived by his mother, father, brother, Cameron Yancey, stepfather, Wayne Poole, stepbrother, Leroy Poole, stepsisters, Amanda Poole and Brittany Poole, maternal grandparents, George and Jacqueline Rettew, many loving aunts and uncles and lots of special cousins. Without a doubt, his cats, Leo and Casper, will miss his loving and caring personality.

Cody was a 2014 graduate of Elizabethtown High School. Following high school, Cody attended California University of Pennsylvania and was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America. He enjoyed playing baseball, football, playing Xbox, board games, ping pong and cards. Cody was a big fan of Starbucks Coffee. Throughout his education, Cody excelled at math and even participated in 24 competitions. His tenacious and competitive spirit compelled him to be the best he could be at whatever he was doing. He will always be remembered by his family for his contagious laughter and great sense of humor.

Funeral Services for Cody will be held from the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut Street, Columbia, PA on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. (VIEWING: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.) with Pastor Doug Evans officiating. Interment to follow in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens. www.cwkraftfh.com
