She was educated in the public schools and was a 1972 graduate of Clear Creek High School. At an early age she accepted Christ and was baptized at Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in League City by the late Rev. Boyd. She was a former employee of Clay Holt @ NASA and worked as a Personal Care Provider. She was presently fellowshipping at Sagemont Church in Houston.
Judy departed this life March 28, 2016 in Galveston. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gertrude Simmons and James Simmons Sr.; sister, Carolyn Simmons and niece, Josephine “Josie” Simmons.
