Anna M. Duffey, 79, formerly of Huntingdon and Three Springs, and most recently a resident of Westminister Woods, Huntingdon, died unexpectedly at 10:34 p.m., Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon.

Born June 17, 1936, in McAlevys Fort, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Gertrude (Peoples) Gibboney. She was united in marriage to Raymond Duffey Sr., June 29, 1957, at McAlevys Fort Presbyterian Church. He preceded her in death July 3, 2003.

She is survived by two sons: Raymond Duffey Jr. and fiancee, Violet Shields, Hustontown, and Tim Duffey and loving companion, Karen Ormsby, Three Springs; grandchildren: Lindsey Shaffer and husband, Matt; Tyler Duffey and wife, Katherine; Jacob Duffey, Joshua Duffey, Jeannie Duffey and husband, Matt, and Katrina Duffey; seven great-grandchildren.; a sister, Nancy Parks, Huntingdon; and a brother, Gerald Gibboney and wife, linda, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Thomas Gibboney.

She was a member of Mount Union Presbyterian Church.

She was a 1954 graduate of Huntingdon High School.

She had been employed by Huntingdon attorneys: the late Merle Heffner and the late Mike DeForrest, and retired in 1993 as a payroll clerk at Southern Huntingdon High School.

She enjoyed cooking, canning, baking and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 31, at Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union. Rev. Ed Seeley officiated. Interment was in Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg.
