John C. Archambeault age 71 of Defiance, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice, Defiance.

His Legacy… He was born December 3, 1944 to Claude and Marjorie (Warren) Archambeault in Napoleon, Ohio. He graduated from Holgate High School and attended Bowling Green State University. He enlisted with the United States Army. He was a postal worker for 20 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Holgate, Defiance Eagles, Defiance Elks, Defiance Moose, and Defiance American Legion, VFW and AMVETS.

His Family… He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Ensign; daughters, Christina (Donovan) Ray of Defiance and Mary (Robert) Duffey of Cecil; step-children, Cheryl Coleman, Mike (Barb) Ensign, Cathy Ensign, Cindy (Sam) Williamson and Carolyn (Denny) Rose all of Defiance and Mark (Lisa) Ensign of Crestor, IA; 24 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Claudella Jones of Ann Arbor, MI and Marie Masztak of Luna Pier, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Lurley (Maude) Archambeault and Ode (Ola) Warren; 2 brothers, Warren Archambeault and Edmund Archambeault and a sister, Mary Archambeault.

His Farewell Services… Friends and family are invited to Zachrich Funeral Home on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 am with the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Fr. John Stites officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Holgate with military honors by the Defiance American Legion and AMVETS.
