Kristin Kimberly Albers, 34, of Red Wing, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 27, 2016, at her home.

She was born June 12, 1981, in Seoul, South Korea and was adopted by Gary and Jane (Kuhfuss) Albers at the age of six months, and was brought to her new home and family in Red Wing, Minnesota. She graduated from Red Wing High School in 1999. She married Jason Lowrie and they later divorced, but together they had three children that she loved dearly. She was a devoted mother and cared deeply for her children, who brought her the greatest joys in life.

Survivors include her 3 children, Emma, Eila and Charlie, all at home; her parents, Gary and Jane Albers of Red Wing; 1 brother, Scott Albers of Red Wing; 2 nieces, Andie and Lainey; a nephew, Ozzy; sister-in-law, Aliza Albers and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norman and Joan Albers and Sonny and Alice Kuhfuss.

A memorial service will 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Reverend Kristen Schlauderaff officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the family for a fund that will be setup for her children. Arrangements handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
