Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice Townley Ashcraft, 44, were held at 3 p.m. Saturday in
North Hodge Assembly of God Church with the Rev. F. C. Chamberlain officiating. Burial
was in Cook Cemetery in Ruston, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston
and Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Mrs. Ashcraft died about 11:30 Wednesday
night upon arrival at Robinson's Clinic.
Survivors include her husband, G. G. Ashcraft; one son, Patrick Ashcraft, both of Jonesboro;
her father and step-mother, Mrs. And Mrs. John Townley, Sr., of Hodge; one brother, J. E. Townley, Jonesboro, one sister, Mrs. Oleta Blackstock, Rock Harbour, Washington.
