Troy Allen Garrett, 37, of Moore, passed away March 26, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born April 11, 1978 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, the son of Douglas and Yeong (Lee) Garrett. Troy had been a resident of this area since 2002, moving here from Lawton. He attended Cameron University and then The University of Oklahoma, where he received a bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Troy was a loyal employee of Sam's Club for 15 years, where he was a part of the Audit team. He had a passion and real knowledge for sports. He cheered for the OKC Thunder, the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Cowboys, and most of all the OU Sooners. Troy was a movie savant and seeing movies on the big screen was one of his favorite things to do. We will miss his quick wit, one liners and his unique perspective on politics and current events. He will always be loved and in our hearts forever. Troy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor Dale and Imogene Garrett. He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Yeong Garrett of Lawton; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Arley Kaulaity of Oklahoma City; nieces, Morgan Kaulaity and Harper Kaulaity also of Oklahoma City; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 9am to 8pm at Moore Funeral & Cremation. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 10am at the chapel of Moore Funeral & Cremation with Rev. Ricky High officiating. Interment will follow at 2pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton.
