Mary Louise Burnett Breeden Mary Louise Burnett Breeden, 79, of Hood, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at her home after a short illness. She was born on November 17, 1934, at Advance Mills in Albemarle County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Page Breeden; her parents, Aubrey and Mary Burnett; and a brother, Hampton Burnett. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Paige Duncan and her husband, Greg, of Keswick; and her granddaughter, Morgan S. Duncan of Keswick, who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Hubert "Hoot" Burnett; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mary Louise was a life long member of Liberty Baptist Church serving as treasurer and pianist. She was a member of the Madison County Planning Commission where she served as recording secretary and past chairman and a faithful member of the local Hoodwinks Club. A special thanks to Dr. William Hammond for his many years of care and friendship. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison. The Reverend Perry Clore will officiate. The interment will be in Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Advance Mills. The family will receive friends Friday evening, March 7, 2014, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church co Elizabeth Breeden, 573 Kinderhook Rd., Madison, VA 22727.
