The deceased was the father of Mrs. Frank Pate. He was born December 15th, 1826, and was in the 91st year of his age at the time of his death. His remains were shipped to Albany for interment, and were burried Tuesday, April 3rd, at 19 o'clock a.m.
The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church, Bro. Hardy officiating.
The deceased was one of the early settlers of Parker county; came before the civil war, and was an ex-Confederate soldier.
