Dolores Jane "Dotsy" Bobbitt Cox, 88, of Harlem, Georgia was a daughter of the late Tildon and Beulah Bobbitt. Dotsy graduated from Rainelle High School in 1950 and was a member of First Baptist Church in East Rainelle, W. Va. until moving her membership to Silver Run Baptist Church in Harlem. She was initiated into the Frances Bell Chapter #75, Order of the Eastern Star in 1974 and served as Worthy Matron several times over her 47 years of membership. She worked for G. C. Murphy Company in Rainelle for several years and retired after 13 years from Harlem Family Medical and Dental. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling the world as a proud Army wife. Affectionately known as Granny to all her family, she loved sharing her closet of candy with all the little ones as they came by to visit. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, SFC (Ret.) William "Eugene" Estle Cox; her parents; brother, Charles (Valgene) Bobbitt; sister, Shirley (Paul) Blankenship; and special cousin, Joyce Partain. She is survived by her two sons, Bill (Mona) Cox and Steve (Bonnie) Cox; brother, Tom (Nancy) Bobbitt; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Interment in Wallace Memorial Cemetery at Clintonville, W. Va.
