DeKALB, Texas—Mona Walker Freeman, 46, of New Boston, Texas, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at her home.
Mrs. Freeman was born Nov. 22, 1969, in Texarkana, Texas.
She was a licensed barber, a correctional officer with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Telford Unit and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark Freeman.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Michael Crump II of New Boston; one son, Landon Freeman of New Boston; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Jennifer Walker of Pittsburg, Texas; three grandchildren, Grace Crump, Faith Crump and Casen Crump; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bates Family Funeral Home with Steve Minter and Robby Bates officiating.
Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
