Steven Michael Watson, of Heiskell, TN was 64 when he went home to his Lord and Savior Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016. He was surrounded by family when he passed. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. Steve graduated from Clinton High School, Class of '69. He loved carpentry and the outdoors, especially horses, fishing, boating, hunting, turkey shoots, the lake, and the farm. Steve retired from a career as a pipe fitter, Local Union 102, after 47 years. Steve was also a member of Masonic Alpha Lodge #376, and Scottish Rite of Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eual & Georgia Watson.
Steve is survived by his wife, soul mate and best friend of Mary Watson; daughters Lisa Roberts, and Jesse Catchot; step-children Brian (Crystal) Henegar, Eric (Amanda) Hill, Billie Jo (Brad) Underwood, and Elizabeth (James) Thomas; his three granddaughters Caitlin & Sarah Roberts and Ava Catchot; step-grandchildren Dylan, Emma, Gage, Zachary, Kyle, Madison, Allie, Brintlee, Perry, James, and Hayden; and Steve's siblings Judy Bible-Smith, Pat Long, Kim Howard, Darlene Watson, Theresa Watson, and John Watson.
The family will celebrate Steve's life on Thursday March 31, 2016 with a service at Riverview Baptist Church, 410 Blacksferry Lane, Clinton, TN 37716, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm; Rev David Watson will officiate.
