She was born on May 8, 1938 in Nappanee, IN to the late Emmitt D. and Mildred L. (Johnson) Shippy.
On September 27, 1958, in New Carlisle, as Patricia A. Shippy she married Dorman R. Wolff, Jr., who passed away on January 11, 2013.
She retired from PDH Office Products after twenty-two years of service.
She was a former resident of New Carlisle, Mishawaka and South Bend.
Patricia is survived by her four sons: Barry E. Wolff of Winamac, IN, Dorman D. (Cecille) Wolff of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mark R. (Kathryn) Wolff of Kodak, TN and James M. (Gina) Wolff of Mishawaka, IN. Also surviving are three sisters, Janis D. (Donald) Swank of Kendallville, IN, Betty L. (Jerry) Chapman of New Carlisle, IN and Susan K. (Ed) Walters of South Bend, IN and a brother, Stuart M. (Janet) Shippy of Rochester, IN. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Zack, Mitch, Ryan, Rachel, Emilly, Karly, Alicia and Sophie and a great-granddaughter, Autumn, all of whom she loved and cherished. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents and by her grandson, Graham R. Wolff.
Patricia loved reading, knitting, fishing with her late husband, crocheting, painting, visiting families in other states and being with her loving family and grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, March 30th, at 11:00 AM, at Highland Cemetery, South Bend, with Pastor Don Neely officiating.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
