Daughter of William Guy and Ruth Tyler. Married James H. Berry.Billie Sue Berry, 87, Duffield, VA, entered into her eternal joy on Saturday,
March 26, 2016 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late William Guy and Ruth Tyler of Fairview, VA, and
had resided in the area all of her life.

She attended the Fairview Apostolic Church until she was physically unable. She
loved God’s word and worship. She was an avid reader and enjoyed quilting and
gardening.

Survivors are her husband, James H. Berry of the home; sons, Rodger Dale Berry
and wife, Charlotte, Duffield, VA, Robert Gale Berry and wife, Brenda, Yuma, VA,
and James W. “Bo” Berry and wife, Tammy, Duffield, VA; daughter, Rhonda Bryant
and husband, Tommy, Church Hill, TN; one brother, Glen Tyler and wife, Margaret,
Kingsport, TN; and she was blessed to have 10 grandchildren, 24 great
grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; along with her sisters-in-law; her
brother-in-law; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Monday, March 28, 2016 at Gate
City Funeral Home, and any time at the residence or residence of the children.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial
Chapel of the funeral home with Evangelist Kenneth Neeley, Pastor, David Kern,
Pastor, Chris Fields, and Pastor Jonathan Lovelace officiating.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at
the New Berry Cemetery on Big Ridge. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Family and friends are asked to meet at Gate City Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m to
go in procession to the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the charity of
choice.

Special thanks to the nurses of Wellmont W3 and Wellmont Hospice for their care.
