Age 89, a resident of Baker and native of Lakeland, LA went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at her home on March 25, 2016. Her final thoughts to her family and friends are as follows, ''Thanks to all of you from my heart, as I am going safely home to be with Jesus and family. Hope to see all of you in heaven''. Ms. Rena loved working in the yard and baking cakes. She would share with her family and friends every chance she could. Her love of God was her passion as she attended and served at Bethany for many years.

Ms. Rena is survived by her nephews, Aristede Lemoine (Joyce), Lionel Lemoine (Virginia), Joe Lemoine (Linda), Philip Lemoine (Sissy) and Paul Lemoine; and 1 niece, Laura Lemoine. She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.

Ms. Rena is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Evelina Guidroz; 1st husband, Harry David; 2nd husband, Ray Miller; brothers, Hewitt, Wilford, Jerry and Ruffin Guidroz; sisters, Eloise Lemoine, Viola Jarreau, Thelma Dupuy, Udell David, Hazel Jarreau, Adele Landry and Amy Landry.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom RD, Baker, LA on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 9:00AM until the funeral service at 11:00AM.

Interment will follow the chapel service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA.
