ARMSTRONG, Raymond C. 69, of Land O' Lakes, passed away Saturday March 12, 2016. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson H.S. in Tampa. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the CSX Railroad and U.S. Postal Service. He is predeceased by his father, William R. Armstrong; his mother, Zoe Lorch Armstrong; and his brother, Frank W. Armstrong. He is survived by his wife, Janice; daughters, Kimberly and Cynthia; his sisters, Gail Armstrong, Carol Broxton (David), Alice Daugherty (Roger); brother-in-law, Frank Greco; niece, Stefanie Fisher and many loving family members and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life held Sunday, April 3, from 2-4 pm at Blount & Curry FH, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa followed by an inurnment with military honors Monday, April 4, at 10:30 am at Florida National Cemetery. Family and friends are encouraged to wear their favorite car shirt and jeans to both. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the National Museum of United States Army.
