Mrs. Gulledge was born October 28, 1925 in Kinston, NC, a daughter to the late Rev. Wesley G. and Vader King Grant. A resident of this area all her life, she retired from Carsons Furniture and was a member of Archdale Assembly of God. In 1970 she married Wilson Gulledge who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Surviving are five children, Joy Myers-Morton and husband Charles of Sophia, Danny Hunt and wife Deb of Sophia, Texie Ward and husband C.T. of High Point, Darlene Seivers and husband Jim of Trinity and Tommy Hunt and wife Penny of Thomasville; thirteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Archdale Assembly of God with Rev. Billy Myers, Rev. Matthew Turner and Rev. Amos Mashburn officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow the service at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
