Nancy is the daughter of James Myers and Mahala Reeves Myers. Children of Stephen and Nancy are: Francis Blevins, born ca. 1855, Carroll Co., Arkansas and Elisha Blevins, born May 05, 1857, Carroll Co., Arkansas. Elisha died May 06, 1857 in Carroll Co., Arkansas
Married second: Sarah Frances Ridgeway in 1861, she is the daughter of John Ridgeway and Sophia Ridgeway. Sarah was born October 1836 in Missouri and died after 1902. Children of Stephen and Sarah Frances Ridgeway Blevins are: Stephen Sigel, born May 1863 in Arkansas, Sophia A., born ca. 1866 in Missouri, Nancy E. born November 1868 in MIssouri, Julie Grant, born October 1872 in Missouri, and Minnie E., born January 1881 in Missouri.

DR S. BLEVINS
Dr. S. Blevins, one of the oldest citizens of Bolivar, who has been a familiar figure in Bolivar since the close of the Civil War, passed away at his home on Springfield street Monday night.
Dr. Stephen Blevins was born February 8, 1815, in Whitley County, Kentucky, And died in Bolivar, Mo at 1:59 A.M., March 4, 1902, having reached the ripe old age of 87 years and 22 days. He moved to Missouri in 1825. While in Caldwell county in 1833 he was converted and joined the Old Baptist Church. He was ordained to preach and took charge of a church. In 1819 he moved to Arkansas and preached for 25 years. While there he married Nancy A. Myers in 1854 and to this union two children were horn. His wife and one child died in 1857 and in 1861 he married Sarah F. Ridgway.
In 1862 he moved back to Missouri. He was a practicing physician for 53 years. A wife, and six children, three brothers, four sisters, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild survive him.
Funeral services were held at the family residence Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. E. A. Leonard, pastor of the First Baptist church, after which the body was taken to the City Cemetery for interment.
