My Lifestory Viola Maria Avery, 89 passed away Thursday March 24, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born November 23, 1926 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Dewey and Marea (Nelson) Zumalt. She attended Hutchinson High School. Later she became a Seamstress working for Detroiter Mobile Home Factory, and Hutchinson Bag Factory. She enjoyed knitting, bingo and trips to the casino.
She is preceded in death by, her parents; Dewey Zumalt, Marea (Nelson), husband; Emmett S. Avery, son; Guery D. Avery, grandson; Leslie L. Wilson, 2 brothers and a sister.She is survived by, sons; Emmett E. (Jeannie) Avery, Dennis D. Avery, daughter; Joyce D. (Everett) Stewart and sister; Carol Anderson, Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation from 4 P.M. to 9 P.M. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel. Graveside services 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Halstead Cemetery, Halstead, Kansas.In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to: Hospice House, care of the funeral home.
