Ms. Virginia Irene "Renie" Higgins, age 63, of Clarksville, Tennessee formerly of Murray, Kentucky died at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, Tennessee on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.
Ms. Higgins was born on August 26, 1952 in Murray, Kentucky to the late Loman C. McDougal and Delores Lee Lassiter. Ms. Higgins was a former employee of Briggs and Stratton and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents Ms. Higgins is preceded in death by one brother; Carl Warren McDougal
She is survived by one daughter; Kim Higgins Bucy and husband Mike of Murray, Kentucky; two sons, Bradley Higgins and fiancé Nikki Austin of Murray, Kentucky and Brandon Higgins and wife Jacobi of Wiesbaden, Germany; three sisters, Hilda Lackey of Paris, Tennessee, Donna Alexander of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Rhonda Trimble of Murray, Kentucky; one sister in law, Renae McDougal of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Terry Raspberry and wife Ruthie of Hazel, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Kylen, Keaston, Kacelyn, Karis, Kaden, Hawley Mae, Jaela, and Joshua; and two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Jude.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Clendenen officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnett Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
