The family moved to Tennesee, then to Missouri where she was baptized in the Mormon Church. They arrived in Salt Lake, Utah in October 1851.
She was blind the last six years she lived but enjoyed good health up until her death.

In Rabbit Valley, Piute County, Utah, April 23d, 1879, of old age, ELIZABETH ALLRED, wife of James Allred, deceased, age 93 years.Deceased was an old member of the Church; baptized in 1832, and passed through all the trials and travels of the Saints from that time.After her demise she was brought to Springville and laid beside her late husband. She lived and died true to her faith in the gospel.-COM.
