Jarrad "Jerry" G. Powell was born on June 10, 1913, in Luther, to George Powell and Dora Blakely Powell. He died Nov. 22, 2005, in Billings.
He worked for the Billings Brewing Company for 13 years and owned S&P Brake Supply for 33 years. A member of BPOE 394, he was a past Exalted Ruler and District Deputy and was a member of Ashler Lodge #29.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Serr Powell, to whom he was married for 66 years; his children, Pamela Sanderson (Robert), Dina Pett (Charles) and Jarrad Powell, Jr., (Molly Scott); five grandchildren, Kim Roebling and Tony Pett, Mark and Michael Sanderson and Brook Powell; and five great-grandchildren, Alex and Adam Roebling, Quinn and North Sanderson, and Eva Pett.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
