Services will be private for Paul A. Hartman, 81, of 55 Jordan St., Skaneateles, who died Tuesday at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles.
There will be no calling hours.
A native of Syracuse, Mr. Hartman also lived in Stillwater, Okla., before moving to Skaneateles 48 years ago. He retired in 1973 as professor in the business school of Cornell University and formerly was a professor at Oklahoma State University. Mr. Hartman was a graduate of Syracuse University.
Mr. Hartman was a member of the Cavalry Club and a past master of the Mandana Grange. He was a former member of Lodge 522, F&AM, and the Skaneateles Fire Department. He served with the National Guard at Hancock Air Base during World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 52 years, the former Gertrude Kay Cramer; a son, Stephen of Afton, Okla.; a brother, Fred G. Jr. of Manlius; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
