Terri Lynn Lee was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on March 26, 1961. She was the first born child of Marlen Hoffschneider and Jorgia (Sterkel) Hoffschneider. At the age of three, she and her family moved to Fridley, Minnesota. She went to grade school in Fridley. She was a member of the girl scouts in that community. In 1970, Terri moved with her family to Tucson, Arizona. She continued her grade school in Arizona. In 1971, she moved with her mother and three sisters to Glendale, Arizona. She continued her education there until she graduated from Glendale High School. She was married to Robert Matsumoto and had two children, Jennifer and William. A few years later, they divorced. In 1982, Terri started working for the State of Arizona where she met Chester Lee in 1992. Terri and Chester were married in January 2002. They adopted Geena Matsumoto as their daughter on National Adoption Day on November 20, 2004. Terri continued to work for the Department of Economic Security as a Benefit Eligibility Case Manager until she retired in May, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father Marlen; sister, Rechel Jackson; and stepsister Sandra Sherrill. She is survived by her husband, Chester; her children Jennifer, William and Geena; her granddaughter Chloe Shillet; her mother, Jorgia Sherrill; her sisters, Pamela Casey, Dawn Nickel, Theresa Thompson; her stepsister Marcy Sherrill and her stepbrothers Michael Sherrill and Timothy Sherrill along with numerous nephews and nieces and other friends and family. Terri enjoyed her retirement by spending time with her family, relaxing, baking and taking family vacations by car to visit family in other states. She especially enjoyed her occasional weekend trips with her husband to either Laughlin or Las Vegas.
