She was in the Jaycees, Bal-on-Sen Triangles. She was a graduate of CW Baker High School in 1955 then graduated from Syracuse University in 1959.
Diane had retired from the Baldwinsville School district after many years as an elementary teacher. After retirement she moved to Bradenton, Florida for a number of years before moving to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family.
Survived by her son, Peter Rice of Pennsylvania; daughter, Kim (John) Rice Lehet of Connecticut; sister, Sally (Barry) Crossman of Parish; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10 a.m. in Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
